I use "OS/2" (aka eCS) 24/7, and can only say about spatial mode that:
1-I never before today heard the term
It means that when you click on a folder, it opens in a new window. Basically, the window "is" the folder. The idea is some sort of object oriented file management. Does OS/2 work that way?
