I've noticed that the Tumbleweed yast partitioner doesn't complete all operations before exiting when finished is press. I can see the cryptsetup and mkfs running as a processes after it exits. In my case this would be for making a encrypted ext4 or xfs whole disk partition and file system on an external USB drive.
Is it supposed to work that way? If so, perhaps it should tell the user not to do anything like unplug the drive before checking that all associated processes have completed.
