No, not obvious. The old adage, "Assumption is the mother of all f****-ups", applies :-). OK, I downloaded that Rescue CD and have tried at least 8 times to create a bootable USB (8GB) stick with it on it. I used the wiki instructions here- https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Live_USB_stick but do not have a bootable stick. I can see that it contains the (apparent) Rescue CD but it won't booth even though it is recognised on the laptop as an USB stick. BC -- "Truth isn't truth."
