All, I suspect the latest update of zypper has dialed up the amount of output you get. (or I'm just going loopy) But tonight, a simple `zypper in` produced reams of repo update status information. E.g: <snip> Checking whether to refresh metadata for security Retrieving: repomd.xml ........................................................................................[done] Retrieving: repomd.xml ........................................................................................[done] Retrieving: repomd.xml.asc ....................................................................................[done] Retrieving: repomd.xml.key ....................................................................................[done] Retrieving: repomd.xml ........................................................................................[done] Retrieving: c94274162fb30a13cb7544d539b58ae949bcd217f4919a5b5aa564cac60f3a24-app-icons.tar.gz .................[done] Retrieving: 14de85bc1ee5c42be2d1b8742c3d771e872c0ff4ffd12eaf97bf1f701ad4e37b-primary.xml.gz .....[done (252.5 KiB/s)] Retrieving repository 'security' metadata .....................................................................[done] Building repository 'security' cache ..........................................................................[done] <snip> This never occur before. (it was one/two simple line(s) per repo) Is there some new verbosity flag I need to dial down?? -- David C.
