The only glitch in the ointment is that roughly 800f the Linux Journal survey respondants were from Germany, which is where SuSE originates from, and where SuSE is number one (as it is in all of Europe if memory serves). It's number one in my book also, however!
I don't see that the percentage of German respondents is all that relevant. LJ is a US magazine and so US readers had just as much, if not more opportunity to respond than anyone in other countries. The fact that more Germans responded only tells me that they may be more passionate about their distribution than others are. I posted this opinion to my local LUG's (GLUG in Johannesburg, South Africa) list earlier this week and someone replied that if US citizens are often too apathetic to vote for their president for the next few years it's a bit much to expect them to vote for an OS. -- Steve Crane stevec@netlane.com <A HREF="http://www.datapro.co.za/~stevec</A">http://www.datapro.co.za/~stevec</A> - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A>
