I did a Yast update on my 9.2 system, and once again one user can not launch a browser. The last time I was informed it was something to do with a gcc update, but I deleted the info. So, bing as I grew up in the 60-70's, most brain cells are gone, and I can not remember the rpm I had to install (backup) to to fix it.
Anyone out there able to help?

Have you tried a Google search with the terms of your original query? I'm assuming that you asked it on here. Sorry but I'm too new to this list to have seen the original but I do know tha there is a way of searching the archives with Google, hence my suggestion :-)
If I were more knowledgable I would help further :-))
Search the list archives on google with:
site:list.suse.com <arg1> <arg2> <arg3> ...
Each additional arg will help narrow the search. If you add [SLE] as an arg it will keep the search to this list. At least that has been my experience.
The main problem is my browsers won't work.
