"All Messages"...
This has only been happening since I switched phones. Previously, I'd see notifications when an email first came in, along with other activity on the phone. Why should the app report email that's already been read or deleted? I can understand getting notified when email first comes it, but not after that.
It may be coincidence. Gmail changed several months ago how it handles read/deleted messages. My phone has not changed in this period. If I read an e-mail in the Gmail app on my cellphone while my laptop is off, it will never appear on the laptop unless I mark it read on the cellphone. A year ago, even 8 months ago, this did not happen.
