Hello all, I just switched from a Matrox Millinium II 4mPCI card to a Viper 550 PCI card..world of difference, very nice. I hope to get a G400MAX when it's supported...but for now my Viper rocks. I bought a K6-III 400 w/ 256 megs of ram lastnight which is going to replace my PII 266 running on a very old PD440FX(chipset) Intel board and the 32 Simms. I don't expect it to be worlds faster, but a bit...I got a good deal on the parts :) Wish me luck on reinstalling ehehehhe. ;) I didn't have any trouble the 1st time w/ 6.1 :) Anyway to get back to what was the topic .. I like Matrox a lot, but the Diamond cards are pretty good and I saw a PCI 550 Viper for $80 brand new yesterday .. so it might not be a bad deal :) laters ... -- Ben Rosenberg |---| mailto:dragula@anet-stl.com "Workstation powered by SuSE LiNUX" -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A>
