Just started converting from Turbolinux to SuSE. While Turbolinux had problems, it did have an easy-to-use package update program which read all the package versions installed on your system (kernel, networking, etc.), compared them with the newest versions on the ftp site, and gave you option to update individual packages or all packages. It looks as though Yast should do the same thing by selecting ftp as the source, but I'm not seeing it. Is there a quick way to update all or selected packages from the SuSE ftp site? What's the system to the directory names on the ftp site - "kernel" and some others seem obvious, but what about "a1", "ap1", "d2", "d3", etc? Anything to RTFM on this?

FWIW, I'm using text interface (server installation).
