use a sd card with write tab locked, then be aware you expose all your
files to copy...
There is another point: some organizations dissable USB entirely on their
computers, so that people can not copy files to a stick and "steal" them.
An alternative for them would be to forbide automounting system-wide, so
that only root can mount any stick.
