are referring to here, but guessing here is the permissions for the sto

Note: I was unable to run these commands as root, I get the following error
message if I try -

# kquitapp5 plasmashell && kstart5 plasmashell
"Application plasmashell could not be found using service
org.kde.plasmashell and path /MainApplication."

I would say your system has problems
  as root, "zypper ve"
the result should be: Dependencies of all installed packages are
satisfied.

but I do not know the ramifications of starting plasmashell that way.
 

And this is the output, also the kicker bar at the bottom of the screen was removed and did not come back.
