ADSL router finesse

Having a functioning ADSL router from Aztech (3100R) on my 9.3 system. Therefore I am a little reluctant to change anything from the configuration. The manual was less than helpful and I am sure that the setup by the telephone people left a lot of possibilities unused. Have looked into the finer details of the configuration but I have given up because most choices are outlandish for me. Do not know if somebody has this or a similar router and could help me off list through the configuration. I assume that such a setup is of less interest for the list but off or on list, I can surely need some help.
