Running a serial console might help you capture some output.
The serial port does not capture more text than goes to the terminal, I have used it. It is of use to see that output when you are using a graphical session, or to capture on file what can not be saved on the local disk because it crashes. I have used it, I have the hardware. And the terminal sees no output, the serial port is useless - or they would have told me when I asked.
I have the knowledge to hack at my own s2disk, but I failed to create rpms for it, thus nobody else can try my hacks unless a dev creates them.
Well, everyone else could just use your hacks to begin with.
True, but I can not create rpms for it. And no dev has said anything on the bugzilla. Some looked, but no one comments on it. Why? - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
