Did something change with Leap that might affect this? I don't recall these issues prior to Leap. I've been using SuSE since 9.3 and possibly earlier (I still have the 9.3 boxed set on my shelf, along with the SUSE Linux 9 Bible).
Well, this setting is new. And of course, using several child processes is also new. It makes FF much faster, but it uses more memory.
And there is another issue, of which I have no hard proof: swap suffers of fragmentation and consequently more disk head movement in Leap compared to 13.1 -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.1 x86_64 at Telcontar)
