Don't. A battery that has been used to start a car for a year or two has suffered a lot, and doesn't last long in light load use. Charge it, leave it alone for a week, and measure the voltage before and after. It should not change noticeably. If it does, the battery is bad. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
