I see absolutly no=20 reason to have one...partly because its unneccisary, and because i've=20 never gotten one to work. I then used a package called "tkppp" which just was a gui front end. It was included in the retail version of 5.1. It worked well, you just clicked "connect" and it would run "ppp on" and then would display "Connected to 32.xxx.xx.xx ", and when you wanted off you clicked "disconnect". If all that you need is a gui frontend to a working ppp setup, try it. You may have it already...
