Yast detects the card as a RTL8139 comptible. But the BIOS claims it's a RTL8100c. Looking in hwinfo, it's loading two drivers, 8139too.ko and 8139cp.ko, similar as per: http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Realtek_8139_Driver_Problem However, neither network driver seems to work. I read a posting that trying a different driver might work. So my question is, how do I force a different driver other than the ones listed and detected by Yast? And how do I flip back and forth between drivers? -- cheers, dg openSUSE.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe(a)opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help(a)opensuse.org --===============4590022281860186893==-- From d.gavrilovic@gmail.com Sat Oct 6 14:12:44 2007 From: darko g To: users@lists.opensuse.org Subject: [opensuse] Re: Need help switching net kernel drivers for RTL8100c Date: Sat, 06 Oct 2007 10:13:33 -0400 Message-ID: <38c146350710060713i2d761c06i7ee52e497c7b7d4a@mail.gmail.com> In-Reply-To: <38c146350710060556h668d2927n4a7408418c40fa52@mail.gmail.com> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="===============3378002079243705556==" --===============3378002079243705556== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit never mind. i fixed it On 10/6/07, darko g wrote: > Hello, I am trying to get a RTL8100c integrated NIC to work under > 10.3.
