Now i get a "CONNECT 33600" but hangs the li= ne and=20 can=C5=BDt continue. Wvdial doesn=C5=BDt works, after ATDT******** waits a lo= ng time and=20 pushing Ctrl + C dials up but after hangs. Some=20 suggestion?

A few questions. 1) Does your ISP use PAP for authorisiation? 2) Have you tried KPPP? 3) what is in /var/log/messages? A couple of things to check/do. In /etc/ppp/options add the following options=20 ----------------------------------------- # Turn on full debugging until you get it to work. # Reports to /var/log/messages debug # Using PAP I found that often the ISP did not respond=20 # for quite sometime in busy periods and pppd timed out. pap-max-authreq 40 pap-timeout 120=20 ------------------------------------------ If this does not help please send an extract of the ppp session from /var/log/messages so we can see what is happening.
