It ONLY uses filenames to guess what kind of file something is, and *.rpm just happens to mean a RealPlayerModule (if the RealPlayer is installed) The solution is to use a ftp program, or download instead of opening in Netscape/IE/whatever (usually shift+click or right-click->save-as will do the trick) If you have the full adress of a file on ftp, just write it without the /matrox.rpm, then you can select it from the file list in your browser. regards Ole On Tue, 29 Dec 1998, Yatsen Ng wrote: >=20 > I tried to download the matrox.rpm from the SuSE ftp site but didn't quite > succeed in doing so.
