If your nt-workstation (or server) has Service Pack 3 installed then=20
nt encrypts the password in a way linux cannot understand.=20
There's a workaround. I can't remember the exact registry entry but
there's one where you can set if nt encrypts the passwords.=20
I think the latest samba version can handle this encryption.
