Hello all!
Thanks for your help, and tonight, while watching the replay of Monday=20
Nitro, i will be linux~connected.
I read that Mr. Boonan sorry if i am wrong, sir> has a lilo config=20
problem. I too have one. I can't seem to get the kernel to accept the=20
fact i had to install the scsi adaptec 1543> controller as a module.
If i don't boot with the rescue, i ALWAYS get 'kernel panic: VFS can't=20
load fs on 02:00'.
As for the way i built my lilo config, i used YaST; i set up linux first=20
(for when i boot my machine, after the wife has used win95, and find i=20
have to go to the bathroom...), calling Linux, then choosing to boot=20
linux, then choosing the kernel from the / and choosing the mbr of the=20
win95 hd, since it's the only one that she can boot into. then i set it=20
for windoze, on hda1, loading dos and letting it sit there.
it seems to work, 'cept that one minor problem...
thanks for listening to me drivel
nWobone
