Hey Folks,

Is this the place to ask general Unix or Linux
questions?  For example, I am trying to get a
better understanding of traceroute's output.
Should I ask a question about that here, or should
I go to a more appropriate news group.  Is there
is such a news group, can anybody tell me where I
might find it?

I don't know, if there is such a newsgroup. Don't be shy, just ask Your
questions 8-) I'm trying quite hard just to understand those outputs for
myself ;^)
