Hello list,
I am starting to look into the development of a touch screen application under
Linux. It would be text based. I am posting the list to see if anyone has
already done it!!
Would GPM the console mouse driver be a good place to start?? The touch scre=
en
input would come in via a serial port.
Thanks
Lach

There is an X-server which has already the touch screen caps. you
prob. need: Metro-X
Technically it's not better than XFree86, but has some features
like touchscreen and a more easy setup.
It's included on RedHat and Caldera OL 1.1 - somewhere else ?...
