I lent a friend my Suse 5.0 cd's. He is having a problem getting the=20
system to recognize his/the school's Allied Telesyn AT2000 network card.
It is an NE2000-compatible card, which the Suse online support db says=20
bad things about. But the card doesn't freeze the system, the system can't
even get the network going. Also, there is no /dev/eth0.
Any ideas, anyone??
