I want to connect my 2x linux boxes together via parallel port.
how can i do that? which communication protocol do i need?
Help(e.g. doc, script, c-code, http ... etc.) on this would be appreciated.

You can configure this with YaST. Use the PLIP interfaces to set up
a point to point connection between your two boxes. You need a=20
laplink like cable to connect the machines.

Hi Bodo!
This is good idea. But could (and how) I set up a connection between my
Linux machine (486/33, SuSE 4.4.1) and my wife's XT (80086, Dos 3.1)? =20
