        I have a trident 9685 providia (no tv) with 4megs edo (unsure if it's=
 true edo ram).  I used SuSE's Trident server and it at least let me have 8bi=
t color at 1024x768.  My monitor is CTX 1562gm which can go up to 1280x1024 (=
with some hacking).  With Xfree's svga server, I couldn't get better than 640=
x480.  As soon as then get all the functionality in these servers implemented=
 then it could possibly achieve the maximum performance from your video card.=
  Win95 has a lot more money and developers making drivers and X is us and so=
me dedicated companies and organizations (metro-x, xfree86, accel-x, suse, et=
c...)

You might want to e-mail SuSE and see if they plan on releasing the functions=
 you want in their servers:
