Ive installed SuSE 5.1 a bunch of times  now, and never had this problem.  Af=
ter the main install on this one machine, it came up with a german version of=
 YaST! though I know I chose english at the start of the install.... is there=
 an easy way to get some english going on here without re-installing the whol=
e thing?

I'm assuming that the order of the actions under yast are the same regardless of language. So here goes... 1. Start yast 2. Select the section menu item, which in english is Adjustments of Installation. 3. Select the first option under the next menu which in English is Select Language. 4. Choose English and Exit back out of Yast.
