Well, I've had simular experiences.. My ISA PnP modem worked fine. I=20
went to Windows 95 to see what it saw it as (com 3 irq 4) and told Linux=20
to use the same and it worked. As far as the PCI modem, I just gave up. =20
Put a ISA 56 v.90 in and bang... it worked..
