Hi all,
Recently I upgraded to Glibc-2 (from libc ver. 5 to libc ver. 6 I
think!)
My problem now is that libc.so.5 is said not to be found. For example
when I enter the command: ldd `which man` gives my following output:
libgz.so.1 =3D> /usr/lib/libgz...
libdb.so.1 =3D> /usr/lib/libdb...
libc.so.5 =3D> not found
I have according to Glibc-2 howto, left a copy of libc.so.5 in both
/usr/lib and /lib because '/usr' is not on the same filesystem as '/'=20
The order of directories in ld.so.conf.in is:
/usr/i486-linuxlibc5/lib
/usr/local/lib
/usr/lib
/usr/X11R6/lib/Xaw3d
/usr/X11R6/lib
/opt/kde/lib
I run SuSEconfig to install the new ld.so.conf
Does anyone have a clue?
regards
