It can take some time, depending on you machine (I don't know yours, so... on a 486 DX-33, it can take up to an hour (ok, with a bigfoot disk, but...)): yast builds the man-caches, and runs various configuration scripts... You can see the process on tty9 (press ALT-F9); and you should wait until a message appears that yast's finished...
