The Real Player works now. =20 Thanks so very much, your advice and comments saved me so much time, and I now understand the download and install concept much better. I also made the video work by going into Sax and changing to a resolution of 16 instead of my previous 32. Have also been trying to install The Macromedia Shockwave Plugin with no luck, and it=20 doesn't look like they have a download compatible with SuSE. =20 Onward to Apache, Angelina -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo(a)suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <= A HREF=3D"http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/http://www.suse.com/Suppo= rt/Doku/FAQ/> and the archive at ht= tp://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html> --===============2133347305366127834==-- From adcarlso@visinet.ca Sat May 1 11:56:20 1999 From: adcarlso@visinet.ca To: users@lists.opensuse.org Subject: RE: [SuSE Linux] Real Player info worked! Start Netscape + go to www.macromedia.com, head for the Shockwave=20 download area; you browser and operating system should be identified=20 automatically. There you can download the Flash 3 player beta 1 for Linux.=20 2.Download the file and extract it to your home directory. Quit Netscape. 3.then simply copy the plugin *libflashplayer.so* into your netscape plugin=20 directory - found in /opt/netscape/plugins under SuSE 4. Restart Netscape and test out the plugin on some shocked html . eg:=20 www.flash.com hould work fine -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo(a)suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <= A HREF=3D"http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/http://www.suse.com/Suppo= rt/Doku/FAQ/> and the archive at ht= tp://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html> --===============5147268537343777466==--
