Hey there,
Yeah, that'll happen in just about any browser if it doesn't already 'know'
about the MIME-type of the file you're trying to get. To download and save
with netscape, go to the page that contains this link, and click the link
with the secondary mouse button (usually the right button) and hold. You
should then see a menu, and one of the options is 'save this link as...'.
Select this, and it will give you the 'save as' dialogue box you're used to.

I'm trying to download the latest samba rpm from the following link:
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/6.4/n1/samba.rpm
Istead of offering me to download it to a local directory (on my fresh
install SuSE6.4) it displays the file in the browser.
Is there a setting in Netscape I might need to click or maybe another
solution?
I'm still very new to Linux.
