I agree with you in the most of your topics. The only one I can hold
against ist the 'kernel selection'. There is a reference page when you
press F1. And (I think) at 5.2 we will use the information the user
gave to YaST while installing the system to choose a 'default' image.

I will forward your mail to our YaST develpment team. And we will see
what we can do. A YaST redisign is already on it's way and we hope
we can make things more easy in the future...
