Had it fixed about an hour after I posted this message 3 weeks ago Your right, just skip the ramdac and clock settings, and with the upgraded X server from suse( I thought I had the most recent version, but I did not) so with the newest version my card was listed and then everything was easy. _________________________________old ^ _____new (down) Works fine now except one thing err or two things... I get some little white dots verticly up and down X in 600x600 mode 32bit (with virtual 1200x1270 or somethen) but in any other I don't get them. (bugs the heck out of me). I gona put 4 more megs of ram in see if that helps(on AGP card) Ill post on this message tomarrow see if that does the trick *and the second problem, which as far as I know does not hinder *anything, when I shut down X I get a message *mach64ProgramClkMach64CT: warning : Q < 10.66666667 *strange (clock somethen or other is about all I can make of this) *anyone know??? -- Steven Udell Wayfarers hettar(a)teleport.com for truth love sudell(a)teleport.com and courage http://www.teleport.com/~hettar> --------------230F4AB332AAEEF631124926 Content-Type: text/html; charset=3Dus-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit >> Steven Udell wrote: > > > > > I am wondering if I can get this AGP XPERT(a)WORK card going > > > So it goes on to ask me which server: I pick Mach64 server > > Then it asks me about RAMDAC and Clock settings(somethign) here > > is what I don't know what to put.. anyone help me on this exactly? > > > > Everything else I can set up except this card ;) help please.
