The 1st version that supports FAT32 will be the 2.0.34
For the 2.0.29 =3D> 2.0.33 kernels, you need to patch it and recompile it
ftp://ftp.student.prov-liege.be:/pub/linux/kernel/patches/fat32.gz>
ftp://ftp.student.prov-liege.be:/pub/linux/kernel/patches/fat32.ht=
ml>
I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure the 2.0.34-prepatches also include the
FAT32 patches...
Patch the (original, unpatched) 2.0.33 kernel with this :
ftp://ftp.student.prov-liege.be:/pub/linux/kernel/pa=
tches/patch-2_0_34pre16>.

Hi
I am sure that Partition Magic ver.3.0 is worth every penny or cent
like you say, but why pay 60/80$ when fips is free and in my experience
works
perfectly ( with one exception that I don't understand:- under M$95B on 1Gb
HD it
said I had approx 450 mb used and 575 free, after I used fips the max
partition I
could get for linux was 301Mb. Why? ). Anyway at the very least i'd have
thought
it worth trying ;-).
goto http://bmrc.berke=
ley.edu/people/chaffee/fat32.html>.
As a newbie can somebody tell me the linux kernel version n=C2=BA that first
supported
M$fat32?.
