I have c= hecked all over the place to find an answer. expert exchange, suse suportdb, = among others. What is the deal I would rather figure out the problem than jus= t upgrade. Can Anyone help?

Chapter 15 (page 337) of the 6.3 manual is all about updating from previous versions. An electronic version of the book should be available on the ftp site.
