I have an external ISDN modem.. responds to AT commands through the serial po=
rt.
.. do I need to compile ISDN support (and which modules) into the kernel?  I =
kno
w that most, if not all, of the options are for internal cards... and are not=

eded for external.. but are ANY needed...???
