Here's my smbmount command mbmount //fortunet2/source /fortunet/s -U win95usr -P win95pw -g 101 -f 770 -d 770 the machines is //fortunet2 (duh) and the directory share is named source. T= he actually directory is named something horrendous like c:\show95a\class32a\dformnw\. and it's mounted on directory /fortunet/s win95usr is not my real user name but is used for example... win95pw is not t= he password but used for example... 101 is the group to assign to the directory and -f -d both deal with permissions on the files... since Win doesn't have them.. they're faked with those options On 13-Mar-98 zentara wrote: >Yeah I tried mount and it wouldn't work.
