Hi list,
hope I'm clear enough to able somebody to answer these dull questions:
1) got and compiled Alsa 0.5.0 for AWE SB pnp
2) sound as a module w/o OSS or anything strictly in the kernel (2.2.14)
3) followed instructions, edited conf.modules and digited:
< /sbin/modprobe snd-card-sb16
< .../snd.o: invalid parameters parm_snd_port
< ... : insmod /lib/... snd-card-sb16 failed
now, in my complete ignorancy, the voice parm_snd_port is not in
conf.modules file, so where can I set the correct parameters?
