to add
some the tiles available as the background to the app bar
in the default desktop of SuSE 5.2. Someone know how to accomplish
this and willing to share ? Much appreciated.

I don't use fvwm, but I suspect that is a variable that can be changed
in fvwmrc.  Both afterstep and windowmaker set the tile background in a
text file, I'm sure fvwm does too.  Just find the system fvwmrc and look
for the iconback setting, or whatever fvwm refers to it as.
