Email Settings?

Hello all, Just installed SuSE Email Server II, simple install, one domain. Set MX to server yucca.turbowarp.net. Users can send mail from yucca, but cannot recieve mail from outside. Users on yucca, can send/receive to each other, but not receive from outside. Where do I start looking? Thanks Randy

Why don't you use the proper version? Moreover, why don't you use the wp8 package which is on SuSE CDs (6.3, ...) (I don't think it makes much difference but who knows.) -- A.M.

klogd sucking up resources

I'm relatively new to SuSe. Seems that (according to 'top') klogd is taking up 90-98% of the %CPU (but less than 1% of the Memory). For example, currently running X, mozilla and one term, the 'top' line for klogd reads: "236 root 19 0 1044 1044 448 R 95.8 0.4 14.31 klogd" Is this an easily correctible problem? Is this a problem? DataFlex 3.05c on Linux

Hi, does anyone have a running copy of DataFlex 3.05c - Multiprocessor (for SCO Unix) version on Linux? I think that iBCS could run only the monoprocessor version of the software, but as I don't know the level of abstraction of the emulation, I'd like to be sure... Playing DVD's on TV

Hello I got my DVD player going on Linux! But now, I've bought the cables, hooked it up to the television... and want to play movies there, but it's not working. I've followed the instructions in the TV_OUT file from nvidia, but it doesn't seem to work. The picture on TV changes, and the colors to as I change something on my X server, but nothing can be seen (not even blurry). I tried it on windows, and there it seems to work. I think it might be something with my refresh rate ... Has anyone gotten this to work? My config AMD Athlon with SuSE 7.1, kernel 2.4.2, XFree 4 (from distro), nvidia drivers. Used resolution for DVD's 640x480 and 800x600 Asus V7100 geforce2MX COMBO AGP video-card with video-out. Connected to the VCR using a SCART cable which is connected to TV-set via antenna-cable (my TV is about 20 years old, without SCART offcourse :-( ) Thanks for any help! Kind regards Guy

Installing SuSE with WinNT

Dear all, at home I have installed SuSE on the same HD as Win98SE. I use LoadLin to load the desired kernel image with success. A friend of mine wants to install SuSE on his HD too but he has WinNT instead. Can we use LoadLin too or must we use LILO? Any other hint will be welcomed!
