Hallo, Wenn ich mich ueber eine 100mbit(switch)-Verbindung ueber das Lan auf meinen Server via ftp oder ssh (openssh und wuftpd)einlogge , dauert es ca.20-30 Sekunden bis der Login erfolgreich war. Bis zur Passwortabfrage get alles mit normaler Zugriffsgeschwindigkeit, nach eintippen und bestaetigen des Passworts dauert es dann wie gesagt extrem lange, bis der Login erfolgreich ist. Hat jemand ne Ahnung womit das zusammen hängen koennte? Gruss Andre
Hallo Andre, der Server macht wohl eine DNS Abfrage des Clients. Trag den Client in die /etc/hosts oder direkt ins DNS ein, oder konfiguriere die Programme so, daß sie diese DNS Abfragen nicht machen... Gruß Sebastian

Hallo, das Problem habe ich bei mir lokal auch, wenn mein Server etwas ausgelastet ist, muss er erst wieder diese Prozesse einlagern und das dauert dann halt manchmal etwas. Ist denn ein 2ter Connect wesentlich schneller? Ursache für dieses Phänomen (Verbindungsaufbau dauert lange, danach kann man normal arbeiten) ist der Reverse-Lookup der Servers, mit dem der Rechner versucht, die IP-Addresse des Clients wieder einem Hostnamen zuzuordnen. Als Lösung _mußt_ Du dem Server die Clients bekanntgeben. Entweder durch Pflegen der Hosttabelle /etc/hosts oder durch DNS-Einträge. Wie, ist Deine Entscheidung. Oder aber Du lebst mit dem langsamen Verbindungsaufbau. Andreas

Hallo, danke fuer die replies, Ich habe jetzt die Hoststabellen angepasst! ssh login aus dem lan funzt jetzt mit normaler Geschwindigkeit, der ftp login Wuftpd ist leider immer noch extrem langsam, allerdings nur aus dem Lan. Andre
