kein Sound unter KDE (Gamesurround Fortissimo III)
Hallo Liste, ich habe hier eine Hercules Gamesurround Fortissimo III, die von SuSE 8.1 als Crystal SoundFusion erkannt wurde (Treiber cs46xx). Der Test unter Yast2 im Soundkartenmodul funktioniert einwandfrei, ebenso der in alsaconf. Auch die anderen Alsaprogramme laufen. Ebenso funktioniert der Test im KDE 3.04 des Soundservers aRTS. Aber ansonsten gibt die Karte keinen Mucks von sich. xmms zum Beispiel bleibt einfach stumm. Der Mediaplayer gibt die Meldung "can't init audio Device : NOSOUND" aus. hmm, gibbt nicht. Nur OSS, esound und nen Diskdriver Plugin.
Versuche 'mal mit artsplay eine wave-Date abzuspielen.
gibt auch keinen Ton von sich. Was mir noch aufgefallen ist, beim runterfahren kann der Sounddriver nicht entladen werden, immer "Device or ressource busy". Irgendwas scheint den wohl zu blockieren. hmmm, das Problem war ein ganz anderes, nämlich meine TV-Karte. Die hab ich mal deaktiviert und jetzt läuft die SOundkarte in allen Anwendungen einwandfrei. Sehr seltsam das. Gruß Frank
