Hardwarefehler. Überprüf mal die Festplatte... Festplatte ist in Ordnung. Dateisystem ist in Ordnung. Arbeitsspeicher ist in Ordnung. Der Fehler tritt nur mit Firefox seit Vers. 4 auf und sonst mit keinem anderen Programm auf. Ich hab deshalb auch die debugs von Firefox installiert. Was mir aufgefallen ist eben, daß das nur Passiert wenn der Swap 256MB überschreitet. vorher gibt es keine Probleme. Viele Grüße, Heinz Dittmar

Ja, da haben wir auch mind. 2 der defekten Sektoren auch schon genannt.

Mist, fällt wem ein, wie die URL zu dem Howto ist, wo beschrieben wird, wie man ne Platte dazu bekommt die "Pending" Sektoren zu remappen? Im Moment fehlt mir das g**gle-fu ... http://smartmontools.sourceforge.net/badblockhowto.html

Hab bei mir aber nicht funktioniert. Ich stimme dir da zu, dass es bestimmt billiger ist (kostet weniger Nerven) die paar € in eine neue Platte zu investieren.
