ich habe für meine Tochter ein neues Mainboard eingebaut. nur leider will SUSE 11.0 nicht mehr Starten.
Vorher lief das Suse einwandfrei. Beim Booten meckert SUSE schon rum.

Das Board ist ein ECS Elitegroup GS7610 Ultra CPU AMD 754 Das Problem dürfte sein, das du nicht den richtigen Treiber für den SATA Controler des neuen Boards in der initrd hast. Damit hast du keinen Zugriff auf die Festplatte mehr. Wenn du das Rettungssystem von der Installations-DVD bootest, wird dann der Controler erkannt und du hast Zugriff auf die Platte ? Wenn nein, dann hilft wohl nur eine neuere SUSE , wenn ja kann man versuchen , die initrd zu reparieren.
