Hello All,

I am using Suse 5.2. My modem is work fine but only at 19200 
I set the speed to 28800 in rc.config.

now I can not dial in to my ISP anymore, it dial in I can hear the handshake
but than it drops the line. In the log I get "Speed 28800 is not supported"

My modem is a BahnBooster 288000 (elsa) it is working at full speed under
windows.

How do I set up my modem to use 28800?

i am using 5.2, the b-boost 33.6, in rc.conf is an empty string
for modem speed,
and in /sbin/init.d/boot.local:
stty ispeed 38400 < /dev/ttyS1
setserial /dev/ttyS1 spd_vhi
and in /etc/ppp/ppp-on
ppp-on:PPP_FLAGS=3D"38400 mru 1500 modem debug kdebug 0 defaultroute \
crtscts noipdefault asyncmap 20A0000 escape FF"
