Hallo !

ich habe Linux 6.0 installiert, bin ein
Linux-Neuling und will ins Internet.

Mein Provider ist die Ruhr-Universi=C3=A4t Bochum
(in der PPP-Liste von YaST enthalten)

Mein Problem ist die grundlegende Netzwerk-
konfiguration:

Ich nutze einen ELSA Microlink ISDN/TL pro
als TERMINAL-ADAPTER an COM-1.

Wie muss ich jetzt das Modem einrichten?

wie eine gewöhnliche PPP-modem-verbindung mit ein paar modifikationen. 
bei mir (ZyXEL T128) sieht das so aus (channel-bundling disabled,
PPP async to sync conversion) :

Das (sehr gute) Handbuch
Die (imho erheblich ausführlichere) Support-Datenbank
Die HowTo's (unter /usr/doc)
Andere Doku's unter /usr/doc/packages

Die Support-Datenbank findest Du sehr einfach: 
An der Konsole tippst Du 'hilfe' oder
Unter X unter 'suse'-'hilfe'.

Einen guten Rutsch und ein gesundes 1999 !
