Today I see 49 new strings in yast trunk. Are these for 11.1 updates? Or is this 11.2 starting? Something else?
If it's 11.2 I'm a little disappointed not to see the msgmerge --previous msgid stuff being used yet ;-)

Yes, these are for 11.1 updates. Expect string updates approx. every two weeks for the next time. You can wait with translating because the openSUSE 11.1 GMC is done. I will post deadlines for the online update once we know about it.

Thanks for the reminder, though ;) Maybe, I could have use it already...

When are you planning to create the 11.1 branch?

Any news for the deadline?

No, but my plan is approx. as follows:
1/ Merge POT files now again (it's running).
2/ Starting preparing the update around January, 15th. Tell me, if you need more time!
3/ (Optional) Offer translation update packages for testing.
4/ If things look fine, publish the updates.

I don't know if this is part of the update but don't forget the gnome-main-menu (see bug https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=438980 ).
Cheers,
Jean

Thanks for the pointers! I just created the an umbrella bug, that's https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=464470, where I'd like you to track all translation issues the update should cover.
Either describe issues literally, or, better, add all know bugs as "Depends On" entries--that's the yellow-orange box in the bottom left corner.
Cheers, Karl

Karl,
Just fyi, if you receive bugs related to spanish translation, you can cc to bugsp at os-translation.com.ar, the message will be forwarded to the spanish mailing list.

Interesting trick! Instead of subscribing bugzilla_noreply at novell.com, which we can't.
