Hello, I have installed Octave from Pakcman repository, bud it does not work with QtOctave, because QtOctave in Packman requires Octave 3.2 and higher. So I installed Octave from Contrib. I have 64bit system and I was not able to launch Octave from Packman neither Contrib. Command "octave" caused error octave: error while loading shared libraries: liboctinterp.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Libraries of Octace are in both packages located in /usr/lib64/ and octave binary is not able to find it. I had to execute as root echo "/usr/lib64/octave-3.2.2" > /etc/ld.so.conf.d/octave.conf && ldconfig Then it works. I do not know which mailinglist is the best for this issue, so I pleas maintainers of those repos and packages to fix this... Thank You...
