YaST2 Control Center Gnome doesn't start in M7
Among the confusing issues in 11.2 M7 i686 and x86_64 is that the YaST2 Control Center Gnome doesn't start from the menu or from command line: # /sbin/yast2 unknown option -S However, YaST2 modules as the software manager can be started from command line # yast2 sw_single Workaround: By the way, I prefere qt-mode for YaST2 software manager also in Gnome and added the package 'yast2-control-center-qt' Then the following commands work to start the control center and software manager respectively: # yast2 --qt # yast2 sw_single --qt Reference: This issue has already been reported as Bug 537470 agains Factory in Novell Bugzilla. There I just added the above as a comment #5 for M7 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=537470#c5 Terje -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-testing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-testing+help@opensuse.org
